Cathy D'Agostino Hamilton 

 

Known locally as a dedicated & and compassionate teacher with a fierce passion for inclusive art in education, she has touched 1000's in her 14 years as an art, mixed media, and pottery instructor at Escondido's Classical Academy and a long-time arts volunteer in Escondido schools.

On a citywide level, Cathy founded the smART Festival bringing together the school district & the community-at-large. As an advocate for California's Alliance for Arts Education, Cathy attended meetings in Sacramento and was the keynote speaker promoting awareness and support of Inclusive Art programs.

When she is not with her "kids" at school or teaching small groups at Joe's Glass Shack, Cathy relishes time with her two daughters: Sarah, 30, a joyful girl with special needs, and Jianna, 26, who works in marketing, media, and communications..
